  4. The Gucci Crew II was a Miami bass group popular between and The group was made up of MC V and TFS (aka Shorty), along with Disco Rick, who was their DJ early on. Their first song, "Gucci Bass", was inspired by LL Cool J's "Rock the Bells", and much like Gigolo Tony's hit, it utilized The Smurfs' theme song as the hook.

  5. With new member Hollywood, the Gucci Crew II dropped G4 on Gucci Records/ Hot Productions, an album that was pretty terrible by anybody's standards. G4 was at its best only on tracks like "Pushin'," where they used samples and beats made popular by other, better hip-hop albums of the past, which, by that time, had gotten pretty seriously played.
